Is a Commercial Plaza built to be the main commercial development of the zone with an exclusive concept which includes the most prestigious brands among the various headings of commerce, recreation, culture, sport, supplies, education, tourism and gastronomy. <br /> <br /> One of the main objectives was to regenerate the shell of a colonial Hacienda property from the 16th century Viceregal period, Hacienda de San Pedro Cuamatla, which was restored together with support from INAH (Mexico’s National Anthropology and History Institute) to reuse its architecture in our commercial development. The complex is becoming a big pole of attraction to the zone and also a generator of considerable economic income, turning it into a catalyst for various activities required by the community’s situation. <br /> <br /> The project encompassed a community center, auditorium and recreational park on a piece of land with an area of 7,320 m2, with a few other socially-minded facilities for the general public, helping the complex become a focal area of life in the zone. <br /> <br /> The Plaza San Marcos concept has easy access routes. The project is surrounded by three major communication routes: the México-Querétaro Highway, which is the continuation of the Periférico or ring road, Avenida Chalma and Avenida de las Haciendas. The concept of the project is that of a “Power Center”, where everything revolves around a central concentrator, this being a parking lot. The constituent elements of the design program are varied, with the idea of concentrating several headings or lines of services in the same place to ensure the success of the business. It is a question of blending the right services to attend a large mass of population in a zone which used to lack a complex with these features, making it the first of its kind in the area. <br />
