The Tarbut School is located on the Western side of the City of Mexico. As an integrating part of its educational project, this study center needs a multipurpose building in which both sporting activities and cultural events may take place, since the climatic conditions of Mexico City require more and more that these activities be held indoors. <br />

We plan a building that adopts the prevailing topography, taking advantage of the conditions of the landscape. The multipurpose assembly hall and the gymnasium will be located at the entrance level, while in the basements a multimedia lecture hall, an area for artistic activities and projection theatre are planned.<br />

We placed particular emphasis in the horizontality with continuous bands, having solid or translucent surfaces, apart from a set of colored bands in the façade and the interaction of several geometries, by which we arrange certain functions; all this brakes the basic orthogonal projection of the building. The language of the premises is modern and functional and the entire Tarbut community will fully enjoy its interiors. <br />
